Well its been a long while since I blogged so I’m going to use this downtime to put together some beautiful love stories that I have documented over the last 18 months. First cab off the rank is Abby & Sam. This was the first wedding that I have ever shot at Adams Peak and trust me, I’m so ridiculously happy I have more booked in the future because it is such an epic venue.
I actually hadn’t met Abby and Sam before their day. Lets just say a small mix up when I thought she was coming to me for a meeting and she thought I was going to her, so phone meeting it was! Even though we had only chatted on the phone, from the moment I turned up it was a VIBE. The boys set the banter to a very high level within minutes and this set the standard for the rest of the day.
There was not a drop of rain predicted so umbrellas were firmly locked in the back of the car. Half way throughout the ceremony a huge black cloud made its appearance and a decent downpour made for some awesome shots and everyone powered through with a smile. This wedding literally looks like it could have been held on 3 separate days. I loved capturing these two together and a visit down to the field to the highland cows was a highlight. A super chilled crowd ready for a party at the reception with an unlimited amount of laughter, love, dancing and partying to capture.
What an awesome crew of vendors for this wedding. Mel from Hitched in the Hunter did the deed, Jerome had the crowd on the d-floor straight after Abby & Sam’s entrance, The naked florist absolutely nailed the florals and Blanc Hair and Bonnie-Lee had all the girls looking drop dead gorgeous. Hunter Valley Video caught all the moments on film and Kim from Love Glows always creates an epic vibe with the neon.
Abby & Sam thanks for having me..
