Courteney & Ben

I’m finding it hard to put into words how I feel about this wedding so I think these images describe the story of their day so perfectly. Courteney and Ben’s small intimate elopement in Byron bay had everything and more that any other wedding 5 times the size would have!
So much thought went into every little detail which was lovely to capture, but that was nothing compared to the emotion, love and happiness of not only Courteney & Ben but their wonderful family and closest friends. A massive thankyou to all of these guest’s for making me feel so welcome and such a big part of sharing in Courteney & Bens day.
They were married at The Earth House and their vows had everyone in tears including me. The back of my camera may have fogged up more than once at this wedding. We had some photos post ceremony in the paddock at Earth House. I had the bridal party lined up and decided I needed to get a little wider and stepped back and got a pretty big zap from an electric fence! Well this was a first at a wedding for me, the bridal party thought it was pretty hilarious (anything to get the shot right?). Lucky I didn’t initiate my first thought of getting back further by straddling over the top of the fence!
We made it down to the beach bang on time for a golden light sunset and the party continued at the beautiful ‘Beach’ on Byron bay to the awesome tunes of Rob Edwards. And it also never hurts when the dance floor action includes ‘the worm’. This wedding was bursting at the seams with love so check out their story below.
Thanks for having me Courteney & Ben. I loved capturing you love x
